Our History
Yorkshire Chauffeurs grew out of the realisation that the needs of business were changing again.
Years ago captains of industry routinely employed chauffeurs but that was more of a perk than anything and gradually began to be seen as extravagent, a use of money that was not appreciated by shareholders
or employees.
In the eighties and nineties they drove themselves but now things have moved on again. Today senior people work under such pressure that they need more support. To be driven has moved on from being merely a pleasure; it has become a necessity.
